As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a full-time Web Developer with proven experience to help us deliver exceptional results to our diverse range of clients. Description of the Position
As a Website Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing responsive, user-friendly WordPress websites. You’ll collaborate with clients and our in-house team to create customized web solutions, implement AI chatbot integrations, and ensure websites perform seamlessly across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development:
- Design and build responsive WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Integrate AI chatbots to elevate user experience.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
- Technical Implementation:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Debug, test, and ensure website security.
- Create dynamic, interactive features with animations and responsive layouts.
- Integrate with third-party services and tools.
- Client Collaboration:
- Translate client needs into technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with internal marketing and design teams.
To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or similar stream.
- Minimum 4+ years of commercial experience working with WordPress development in a similar role..
Core Competencies and Technical Skills:
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of web security and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, Webflow, Divi).
Preferred Skills:
- E-commerce development experience (Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Understanding of digital marketing and UX/UI design principles.
- SEO optimization knowledge.
Personal Attributes:
- Problem-solving mindset and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for staying current with the latest web technologies.
